Jack Storer starts his Birmingham ban against Norwich

Jack Storer starts his three-game ban for Birmingham after being sent off in their 3-1 defeat to Wolves last weekend.

The 18-year-old was dismissed for headbutting Kortney Hause and boss Gary Rowett has said he cannot expect to come straight back into the squad after his suspension.

Diego Fabbrini has returned to training after previously missing out with a back injury and could feature for the first time since the opening day of the season.

The midfielder is Rowett's only doubt as Birmingham look for their first home win of the Sky Bet Championship campaign.

Ivo Pinto is a doubt for Norwich after he came off in Sunday's 1-1 draw at Ipswich with a hamstring problem.

Goalkeeper John Ruddy (groin), Martin Olsson (hamstring), Graham Dorrans (groin), Alex Pritchard (side strain) and Matt Jarvis (knee) are also on the sidelines.

Jacob Murphy is pushing to start after his impressive performance in Norwich's 6-1 EFL Cup win over Coventry on Tuesday while Sergi Canos, who scored twice, is expected to keep his place.

Michael McGovern, Timm Klose, Robbie Brady and Alex Tettey are all set to return after being rested for the midweek win at Carrow Road.
