Anderton Rewarded With New Deal

The 32-year-old former Tottenham and England midfielder, who had been on a pay-as-you-play contract, has put in some fine performances when selected for first team duty this term and has been rewarded with a new contract that will tie him to Blues until the end of the 2005-06 season, providing Premiership football is secured this season.
