The Blues' co-owner confirmed that a deal had been agreed for the Guinea international centre-back to move to St Andrews only for the deal to collapse, reportedly because Balde was unhappy with a contract settlement package offered to him by Celtic. "We came to an agreement with the player. "But it fell down over the settlement with Celtic. He couldn't come to an agreement with them. "It may yet still happen at some point. But it depends on him and Celtic sorting things out."
