Blues & Barnsley Fined By FA

Both clubs admitted failing to ensure their players and/or club officials conducted themselves correctly and/or refrained from provocative behaviour. towards the end of the game at Oakwell on 9th April.

All 22 players and substitutes got involved in the confrontation and managers Steve Bruce and Simon Davey were forced to go on to the pitch to restore order.

The referee let the players square-up to each other before finally showing straight red cards to Barnsley's Bobby Hassell and Blues' substitute Neil Danns.

Blues were fined £6000 whilst Barnsley received a £7000 fine.
