Ireland boss Lawrie Sanchez has confirmed that he is to keep faith with the same side that started in the 2-0 win against Azerbaijan in Belfast on Saturday.

Northern Ireland XI: Taylor, Baird, Hughes, Craigan, Capaldi, Gillespie, Johnson, Davis, Elliott, Healy, Quinn.

Blues defender Matthew Upson is in the England squad for tonights game at Windsor Park although he is likely to have to make do with a place on the bench again when Sven-Goran Eriksson names his starting eleven for the Group six qualifier.

Elsewhere, Kenny Cunningham is almost certain to be named skipper for the Republic of Ireland in their crucial Group Four qualifier against France in Dublin tonight.

The Republic currently sit in second place in the Group Four table, level on 13 points with both France and Switzerland.

Blues striker Mikeal Forssell is also involved in World Cup qualifying competition tonight as his Finland side take on Macedonia in Helsinki.

However, the Finns have no chance of qualifying from Group One for the finals in Germany next year after their 0-0 draw against Andorra at the weekend.
