Vaesen has just returned to action following seven months on the sidelines after a knee ligament operation and has completed three outings for Keith Bertschin's second string side with no reaction to the injury he sustained in the local derby against the Villa last March.
Blues boss Steve Bruce hinted that he may choose to loan Nico out to interested clubs in an effort for the Belgian keeper to gain much needed first team action and the Sky Blues, whose number one Pegguy Arphexad limped out of their fixture with Sunderland on Saturday with a groin injury, are reported to be keeping a close eye on developments.
