Cunningham doubtful for Fulham clash

The Republic of Ireland skipper was forced to sit out his country's friendly international draw with Turkey on Tuesday night with a groin injury picked up in the Republics game with Russia last weekend.

Should the popular centre-back fail to recover in time for the home game with Fulham, manager Steve Bruce will have to choose between Darren Purse and Olivier Tebily to partner matty Upson in the heart of a Blues defence that has yet to concede a goal this season.
