The 20-year-old Blues keeper, who is currently on a season long loan deal with The Lions, has reportedly said that he could turn down the offer of a new contract at St Andrew's in favour of a move to the South London side even though they look like dropping down a division this season.

"Birmingham have said they want to keep me and have offered me a two-year contract but you've got to move on," Doyle has said.

"Since I've been at Millwall, the lads have been great, the fans have been great, so why not stay?

"It would be frustrating if we go down, but playing games makes you a better player.

"If it means playing in League One, I'm prepared to do that." .

Doyle has made 10 appearances for Millwall since beginning his loan spell towards the end of last year.
