Bendtner has made just one substitutes appearance since injuring his ankle in the 2-2 FA Cup 4th Round home draw against Newcastle on 6th January. The on-loan striker played the last twenty-minutes of the 3-2 home defeat to Reading last weekend but then missed the midweek home defeat against Southend.
Full-back Kelly is now fit again having been sidelined with a calf injury he sustained in the Newcastle home tie.
Manager Steve Bruce therefore has a fully fit squad to choose from for the game at Layer Road with the exeption of long term injury victim Mikael Forssell.
