Duo Return For Rovers Clash

The duo have recovered from Achilles and knee injuries respectively and will travel with the squad for the live television clash at Ewood Park.

Dunn has been sidelined with the cut to his Achilles that he sustained in last months away fixture at Southampton whilst Morrison has been sidelined for five weeks having undergone surgery on the knee injury he sustained whilst on international duty with the Republic of Ireland at the beginning of October.

Both players will I'm sure be eager to play against Blackburn for different reasons. Dunn because it will be against his old club and Morrison because with the current goal drought at Blues it gives him an opportunity to show the fans that he is capable of finding the onion bag on a regular basis at Premiership level.

Meanwhile, winger Stan Lazaridis is a doubt for the game against Mark Hughes' side having picked up what has been diagnosed as a slight hamstring strain whilst playing for Australia in their midweek friendly against Norway.

Lazaridis limped out of the game at Craven Cottage seven minutes into the second half and it now remains to be seen whether he will have recovered in time for the Rovers game on Sunday.

Manager Steve Bruce will of course be without the services of midfielder Muzzy Izzet at Ewood Park as he serves a one game ban for his sending off against Everton at St Andrew's last weekend.

Head-to-Head
Three times in Blues history they have scored five goals in a game and not won. Two of these games were against Blackburn!
