The Blues striker played for the final 13 minutes having been named amongst the Finland substitutes for the game which ended goalless at the Nya Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg on Thursday afaternoon.
Elsewhere, Stan Lazaridis, who is to leave St Andrew's this summer, played for the last 16 minutes of Australia's 1-0 win against Greece in Melbourne.
