Francis set for disciplinary announcement

The Blues' boss has found himself in hot water after confronting the referee over which end the penalty shoot-out should take place.
The FA had planned to make a decision on the matter last month but they have struggled to interview all of the relevant witnesses as a number of them have been away on holiday.
A decision is now imminent as the FA want to get the matter resolved before the new season kicks-off on August 11.
If any charges are made against Francis then the respective parties will have 14 days to ask for a personal hearing and then a date for a hearing would have to be set, meaning that getting the matter resolved before the big kick-off will prove to be very tough indeed.
The Birmingham board have already pledged to give their full backing to Francis if he is hit by a misconduct charge.
