Kenny Cunningham captained the Republic of Ireland to their first Euro 2004 qualifying victory with a 2-1 victory over Georgia in the Locomotiv Stadium in Tbilsi - Jeff Kenna was an unused substitute for Brian Kerr's side.

Winger Paul Devlin was a 65th minute substitute for Scotland in their 2-1 victory over Iceland at Hampden Park.

Robbie Savage played for just 17 minutes as Wales maintained their 100% record in Euro 2004 Group Nine with a 4-0 victory against Azerbaijan at the Millenium Stadium, Cardiff. The Blues midfielder limped off with an ankle injury.

And, Damien Johnson played for Sammy McIlroy's Northern Ireland side in their 1-0 defeat to Armenia in Yerevan - the goal coming just four minutes from time.
