Ireland call-up for Kenna

The ever dependable defender was called into the Ireland squad after manager Brian Kerr was told of Fulham full-back and former Blues player Steve Finnan's withdrawal with a rib injury.

Kenna joins Blues team-mate Kenny Cunningham in the Republic's squad for their two crucial games against Georgia on Saturday and then Albania next Wednesday.
