The 21-year-old midfielder was due to join Oldham on loan until the end of December but Blues boss Steve Bruce has informed The Latics that he will not be allowing Kilkenny to move to Boundary Park following the collapse of Hossam Ghaly's transfer to Blues from Tottenham Hotspur earlier today.
