Look at the three games you'll miss Darren

The Blues defender, only in the side because of injury to Kenny Cunningham and hoping to prove to Blues boss Steve Bruce of his worth in keeping a first team place, was dismissed 8 minutes from the end of the game at St. Andrew's for a much publicised incident with Lois Boa Morte.

Purse will now be missing for three games beginning with the away fixture against Manchester Utd on October 4th followed by the two mouth-watering home games against Chelsea on October 14th and Villa on October 19th.

Just looking at the three games he will not be considered for will leave Purse reflecting on just how ridiculous it was to chase down Boa Morte for the ball after Blues equaliser on Sunday.

As for Steve Bruce, I'm sure he'd have liked to have every member of his first team squad available for three such games!
