Mido Deal Back On

A £6million fee had been agreed betwen the two clubs a fortnight ago only for the deal to collapse because of contractual issues.

Now Blues boss Steve Bruce has confirmed that he is still pursuing the Egyptian international striker, who is also being targetted by Sunderland and Fulham.

Bruce said: "It was all sorts of things like length of contract, stipulations in the contract.

"Those seem to have been ironed out so, if talks are ongoing again, then great. We made the best offer we can to the player so we'll see what happens.
