Morrison's season is over

Blues boss Steve Bruce has said that he feels it better that the club's record signing undergoes surgery on the injury rather than take the risk of the shoulder dislocating again.

Morrison was withdrawn from the Republic of Ireland squad yesterday, for their two Euro 2004 qualifiers against Georgia on Saturday and then Albania next Wednesday.
