The Blues keeper, who's contract at St Andrew's expired this summer, was being targetted by a number of English side's but has instead decided on a return to his homeland.
Vaesen made 62 appearances for Blues following his transfer from Huddersfield Town back in 2001 and played an integral part in helping the club reach the top-flight in 2002.
