Reid Fined Over Gronkjaer Incident

The Republic of Ireland international, who was influential in Rovers comeback from a 3-1 half time deficit during the game at Ewood Park on 21st November, was caught on tv camera's elbowing former Blues winger Jesper Gronkjaer in the chest midway through the second half of the game that ended in a 3-3 draw.

The incident was not spotted by match referee Neale Barry but the FA charged Reid with improper conduct and he has today (Tuesday) been fined £1000 and warned as to his future conduct.
