Everton's bid of £3million for the Wales international on Friday was rejected as "derisory" to both club and player by Blues MD Karren Brady and now Sullivan has stated that Savage is not for sale at any price.

"Any club cannot stop any other club from bidding for one of their players," he told the clubs official website, www.bcfc.com.

"However, this situation, obviously has a detrimental effect on the player and unsettles them, as is the case with Robbie Savage.

"But as a club, we can only respond by saying that Robbie is not for sale at any price.

"The club is not in the business of selling its best players and is committed to strengthening the squad and bringing in quality players who will continue to help establish Birmingham City as a Premiership side."
