Sav Signing On Friday

The Blues midfielder, who was the subject of a 'derisory' bid by Everton on Tuesday, told Sky Sports News that he had verbally agreed on a new contract in May and never had any intentions of going back on his word.
"It was agreed 8 weeks ago, I'm a man of my word, I'll be signing on Friday and I'm delighted," he said.
"I was always going to stay, I've had two of the best years of my career here.
"Hopefully thats the end of the matter," he added.
Savage, who still has one year of his present St Andrews contract to run, is expected to sign a new improved four year deal with Blues.
