The Blues winger, who following relegation from the Premiership has been told he will not be offerred a new deal at St Andrew's and is likely to play out the remaining days of his footballing career in his homeland, has been named in Australian coach Guus Hiddink's squad for the tournament in Germany this summer.
The Socceroos World Cup Group 'F' games are against Japan on June 12th, Brazil on June 18th and Croatia on June 22nd.
