Too soon for changes?

Not so much in the two away fixtures so far this season, but most definately in the two home fixtures against both Spurs and Fulham, I have watched our two central midfielders get over-run by the opposition.

Steve Bruce himself said after the 2-2 draw with Fulham on Sunday that we needed someone to just 'put their foot on the football' and I see Cisse getting a start in the midfield engine room in the not too distant future, because he is the one central midfield player we have that can do just that.

According to reports, Cisse has knuckled down well in training since his now infamous pre-season fall-out with the Blues boss, and from whats been seen of his performances in the Reserves fixtures looks to be back to the form he showed prior to his injury at Blackburn last January which sidelined him for the latter part of last season.

It was nice to see the Senegal international out there amongst the 16 during the warm-up before the Fulham game on Sunday and he looked in good shape but I really feel now is the time to reintroduce the influential midfielder to the starting eleven.

A hungry and an I want to show you what I can do Cisse in the side can only improve on whats been a decent start to the season so far, in my opinion of course.
