Upson Facing One Game Ban

The Blues centre-back was shown his fifth yellow card of the season by match referee Chris Foy for an innocuous looking challenge on Addicks striker Shaun Bartlett 35 minutes into the 3-1 defeat at The Valley.

The England defender will now be forced to sit out Blues next game against Fulham at St Andrew's next saturday.

Midfielder Damien Johnson also picked up a second half caution in the game at The Valley - his fourth of the campaign.
