Blues boss Steve Bruce is now looking to see if the Premier League will give the club special dispensation to bring in a keeper on loan even though he has two fit professional keepers on the books in Clint Davies and Ian Bennett.
Nineteen-year-old Davies, however, is only a first year professional and has yet to make a first team appearance in any competition.
