The young Blues pair have been named in Ireland coach Sean McCaffery's 18-man squad for the Elite phase of UEFA qualifiers being held in Germany from the 21st March to 26th March.
The Republic will play Scotland on Wednesday, 21st March, then Greece on Friday, 23rd March and then hosts Germany on Monday, 26th March.
The group winner will advance to the finals which are to be held in Belgium in May this year.
