Young Bruce Turns Down Northern Ireland

Young Bruce, who was signed from Blackburn Rovers on a free transfer last week, qualifies for Northern Ireland through his grandmother and was offered the chance to represent the Irish in their forthcoming Under 21's international friendly against Scotland.

However, reports suggest that 20-year-old Bruce doesn't want to commit his international future at this moment in time and has turned down the opportunity of playing for Roy Millars side next week.

Bruce is currently on loan at Oldham but will arrive at St Andrew's when his loan spell at Boundary Park finishes next month.
