Painter Gets Ireland Under 21 Call-Up

The young Blues defender, who made his first team debut with a substitutes appearance in the recent Carling Cup 2nd Round tie against Scunthorpe, has been named in Ireland coach Don Givens' 18-man squad for the game's against Cyprus in Larnaca on Saturday 7th October and Switzerland at Tolka Park, Dublin on Tuesday 11th October.
