Blues have already had the pleasure of the Leicestershire-based official refereeing one of their games so far this season whilst he is yet to take charge of a Bluebirds fixture this term.

The one Blues game that Kevin Friend took charge of earlier this season was in our 2-1 home win against Queens Park Rangers back on Boxing Day. Nicklas Bendtner was the only Blues player booked during the game at St Andrew's on that day.

In total Kevin Friend has taken charge of 26 games so far this season in which he has handed out 71 yellow cards and 5 reds.

R Ganfield and G Stott will be Kevin Friend's assistants for the match at St Andrew's on Sunday morning.
