Mark Clattenburg Refs Blackburn Match

Last updated : 21 March 2010 By Brian Cartlidge

Blues have already had the pleasure of the Tyne & Wear-based official refereeing two of their games so far this season.

The last time Mark Clattenburg took charge of a Blues game was in our Premier League home fixture against Manchester United on 9th January. Stephen Carr and Seb Larsson were the two Blues players booked in our 1-1 draw at St Andrews on that occasion.

In total, Mark Clattenburg has taken charge of 34 games so far this season in which he has handed out 87 yellow cards and 5 reds.

Gary Stott and Trevor Massey (running the line for the first time since the infamous corner flag incident in our home game against Wigan) will be Mark Clattenburg's assistants for the game at Ewood Park on Wednesday night.
