Mark Halsey Refs Hammers Game

Last updated : 16 August 2007 By Brian Cartlidge

Blues only had the pleasure of the Lancashire-based official refereeing two of their games last season whilst Mr Halsey took charge of three Hammers games during the last campaign.

The last time Mark Halsey took charge of a Blues game was in our 1-1 home draw against Sunderland on 20th February 2007. Gary McSheffrey and the now departed Bruno N'Gotty were both booked during that game.

Prior to the Sunderland game, Mark Halsey had refereed our 1-1 home draw against Wolves on 18th November 2006. No Blues players were booked on that occasion.

Including the FA Community Charity Shield, Mark Halsey has taken charge of 2 games so far this season in which he has handed out 6 yellow cards and no reds.

M Matadar and G Stott will be Mark Halsey's assistants for the game at St Andrew's on Saturday afternoon.
