Blues have already had the pleasure of the Wirral official refereeing one of their league games this season whilst Mr Dean has also taken charge of one Chelsea fixture this term too.
Mike Dean was the referee in charge of Blues 0-0 away draw with Southampton back on 24th October. Darren Anderton was the only Blues player booked on that day.
Mr Dean's one game in charge of a Chelsea fixture was back on 18th December. He was the man in the middle for their 4-0 win against Norwich at Stamford Bridge. No Chesea players were booked on that occasion.
In total Mike Dean has taken charge of 20 league and cup games so far this season in which he has handed out a total of 54 yellow cards and six reds.
Mr C. Richards and Mr P. Kirkup will be Mike Dean's assistants for the game at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.
