Mike Riley Refs West Brom Game

The West Yorkshire-based official has already taken charge of one Blues game this season and he has also refereed one Baggies match this term.

The last time Mike Riley took charge of a Blues game was in our 3-1 home win against Preston back on 9th December. Cameron Jerome, Fabrice Muamba and Medhi Nafti were all booked during that game.

The last time Mike Riley refereed a West Brom game was in their FA Cup 5th Round replay against Middlesbrough at The Hawthorns on 27th February. Darren Carter and Paul McShane both picked up yellow cards on that occasion.

In total Mike Riley has taken charge of 36 games so far this season in which he has handed out 127 yellow cards and 12 reds.

J Flynn and G Turner will be Mike Riley's assistants for the game at The Hawthorns on Sunday lunchtime.
