Last updated : 21 December 2005 By Brian Cartlidge

Blues have already had the pleasure of the Staffordshire based official refereeing one of their games this season whilst Mr Dowd has also taken charge of just one Tottenham game during this campaign.

The last time Phil Dowd was in charge of a Blues game was in our 3-0 home defeat to Middlesbrough on 28th August. No Blues players were booked that night.

Phil Dowd's last game in charge of a Tottenham fixture was in their 3-2 win against Charlton Athletic at The Valley on 1st October. Jermain Defoe and Pedro Mendes were both booked on that occasion.

In total, Phil Dowd has taken charge of 19 League and Cup games so far this season in which he has handed out 78 yellow cards and 3 reds.

Mr R Lewis and Mr J Ross will be Phil Dowd's assistants for the game at White Hart Lane on Boxing Day.
