Steve Tanner Refs Palace Game

Last updated : 13 February 2007 By Brian Cartlidge
Blues have already had the pleasure of the Sommerset-based official taking charge of one of their games this season whilst Steve Tanner is yet to referee a Palace game this term.

The last time Steve Tanner took charge of a Blues game was in our 3-2 away defeat to Leeds United back on 23rd September 2006. Dudley Campbell, and the now departed duo of David Dunn and Marcos Painter all picked up yellow cards at Elland Road on that occasion.

In total Steve Tanner has refereed 24 games so far this season in which he has handed out 57 yellow cards and 2 reds.

J D A Hopkins and S P Rubery will be Steve Tanners assistants for the game at Selhurst Park on Saturday afternoon.
