Maik Taylor - Some good handling a a fine save at the death.

Tebily - Outstanding

Cunningham
- Marshalled the defence superbly.

Martin Taylor - Best game for a long while.

Sadler - Struggled early on with no left sided midfielder helping him but did well second half.

Pennant - Excellent.

Butt - Absolutely superb.

Johnson - Another ninety minutes of sheeer hard graft.

Clemence - Protected the back-four superbly.

Heskey - Woeful in front of goal and not a lot better elsewhere. Worse performance in a Blues shirt, maybe?.

DJ Campbell - Clearly not a Premiership player.

Subs:

Forssell
(for Campbell, 57) - Held the ball up well when we had our backs to the wall.

Kilkenny (for Butt, 88) - Only on for a couple of minutes.

Subs not used: Vaesen, Latka, Lazaridis.
