Player Ratings

Maik Taylor - Generally poor again.

Melchiot - Some good moments going forward.

Clapham - Steady.

Cunningham - Did ok.

Martin Taylor - An excellent performance, all things considered.

Johnson - Quite simply the difference between the sides. Cost Blues three points.

Gray - Lacking in confidence.

Carter - Not at his best.

Diao - Put in a good shift and should get better.

Morrison - Decided to have one of his wrestling and moaning days.

Heskey - Didn't really get the service he needs.

SUBS:
Blake - Looked handy again, but a pity everything crumbled around him.

Anderton - Tried to change things.

Yorke - No time to do anything.
