Wednesday, 13th July: Blues pre-season tour of Norway got underway with a game against Second Division side FC Egersund. Won 2-0

Saturday, 16th July: Second game of the Norway tour against Premier League outfit Viking Stavanger. Won 1-0

Tuesday, 19th July: The tour of Norway concluded with a game against Premier League side Bran Bergen. Lost 4-0



Saturday, 23rd July: Blues played a friendly game against Derby County at Pride Park, which they Won 4-0



Monday, 25th July: A Blues Reserves team played a pre-season friendly against Conference side Exeter City at St James Park and Lost 3-2



Wednesday, 27th July: A Blues first team squad travelled to take on Northampton Town in a pre-season friendly at The Sixfields Stadium which they Lost 1-0



Saturday, July 30th: A Blues side travelled to the Capital to take on Ian Hollaway's Coca Cola Championship side, QPR, at Loftus Road in a testimonial game for Kevin Gallen. Lost 2-1

Meanwhile another Blues XI played Peterborough United at London Road, and also Lost 2-1



Tuesday, August 2nd:
A Blues Reserves played a pre-season friendly against Kettering Town at their Rockingham Road ground. Won 2-1



Friday 5th & Saturday 6th August: Blues first team travelled to Spain to play in the The Juan Cauna Trophy Tournament against Deportivo La Coruna A' and 'B' side's at La Razior in Spain. Won one, Lost one

Meanwhile, also on Friday 5th August, a Blues Reserves side were beaten 3-1 in a pre-season friendly against Solihull Borough at Damson Park.
