Bruce's View: Hull City (a)

Blues were a goal behind at the KC Stadium inside 10 minutes and when centre-back Rhadi Jaidi was sent off for a proffesional foul on 34 minutes it was always going to be an uphill task for Blues with just ten men.

The home side went on to score again 12 minutes after the break and claim a deserved three home points against an abysmal Blues side.

"It was a very disappointing afternoon for us, we never recovered from our sloppy start," Bruce said after the 2-0 defeat.

"It was a poor goal to give away and then the sending off, which I have no complaints about, made it a very difficult game for us.

"It was hard enough with 11 players never mind going down to ten.

"When we were one down and trying to chase it we were leaving gaps all over the place, but didn't get one back and it certainly wasn't our day.

"With the sending off I thought it was sloppy on our part and I think we defended poorly for the first goal as well and that summed us up in the first 25 minutes.

"We're usually rock steady with Jaidi and Taylor and they've been very good over the last few weeks but unfortunately today they struggled."
