The former Spurs and England international midfielder has yet to make an appearance for Blues since his move to StAndrew's as a free agent last month.
Blues boss Steve Bruce has however revealed that he intends to give Anderton a game in a behind closed doors match against West Brom and in the second strings clash away at Villa next week.
