The former Spurs and England international midfielder, who joined Blues as a free agent at the beginning of August, is in the squad for tonights second round tie at St Andrew's.
Anderton has played in two Reserve team fixtures since joining the club and made an appearance in a behind-closed-doors friendly against West Brom at Blues' Wast Hills training ground last week in an effort to step up his match fitness.
