Blues are yet to concede a goal in the Premiership so far, not bad considering the strike force the defence has come up against  - Postiga, Keane, Zamora, Beattie, Phillips and all - even if their season is only two games old.

Bellamy, involved in the controversial sending off of Matty Upson in last seasons encounter at St. James' Park, has been ruled out of this weekends game with a knee problem.

"It's short-term," Newcastle manager Sir Bobby Robson said on Tuesday evening.

"He won't play this week, either tomorrow or Saturday.
