Injury worries for Bees

Brentford have a host of injury concerns ahead of the visit of Carlisle.

Left-back Jake Bidwell is set to miss out with an ankle injury and striker Will Grigg is struggling with a hamstring problem.

The Bees also lost on-loan Sunderland forward Conor McAleny to a broken leg last weekend while goalkeeper Richard Lee (shoulder) and midfielder Jonathan Douglas (knee) are still recovering from operations.

Boss Uwe Rosler will recall the likes of goalkeeper David Button, defenders Tony Craig, Harlee Dean and Shaleum Logan, midfielders Alan McCormack and Adam Forshaw and striker Clayton Donaldson after making 10 changes for the 5-0 Capital One Cup defeat at Derby in midweek.

Carlisle must look to tighten up the Sky Bet Football League's most leaky defence without injured centre-half Sean O'Hanlon again.

The Cumbrians have conceded 22 goals in six matches this season, but under-fire manager Greg Abbott has few options following the 5-2 Capital One Cup defeat to Leicester in midweek.

O'Hanlon is still struggling with the groin injury he sustained in the warm-up ahead of last Friday's draw at Colchester and midfielder Paul Thirlwell stepped in alongside Danny Livesey at the heart of defence.

Abbott, who has no new injury or suspension problems, could be tempted to recall either Mike Edwards or Kevin Feely to his back line as his side chase their first league win of the season.
