Players and coaching staff from both side's were involved in the brawl at the final whistle with Blues midfielder Neil Danns and Barnsley defender Bobby Hassell receiving a red card for their involvement which will culminate in three game suspensions for the pair.
Now the FA have confirmed that both clubs will be charged with failing to ensure that their players and/or club officials conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and/or refrained from provocative behaviour.
