Bruce has been promised funds by Sullivan to sign new players during this months transfer window because the Blues squad is now down to the bare-bones with injuries to key players such as Matty Upson, Christophe Dugarry, Stan Lazaridis and Jamie Clapham.
Sullivan told the Birmingham Evening Mail that one signing could be completed as early as this week with possibly another two coming in before the 'window' closes at the end of the month.
