The FA issue a fine to any club which exceeds five cautions in a game and Blues had seven players - Damien Johnson, Geoff Horsfield, Jovan Kirovski, Darryl Powell, Olivier Tebily, Aliou Cisse and Darren Purse enter referee Andy D'Urso's notebook.
"We are aware of the regulations. It is disappointing but we have got to accept it," said Chief Executive Karren Brady.
