Blues Granted Permission To Talk With Dickov

The Scotland international striker has a clause in his contract with Leicester that allows him to talk to any Premiership club that offers a £150,000 fee for his services and the Foxes boss has confirmed that both Blues and The Baggies have done just that.

Adams has added however that he will fight tooth-and-nail to try and keep his top scorer this season at The Walkers Stadium.

One can only assume that Blues see Dickov as a good investment to boost the squad numbers at St Andrew's. With Mikael Forssell tied to another one year loan deal and talk of strikers like Emile Heskey and Alan Smith being targetted to partner the Finland international maybe a player like Dickov in reserve wouldn't be as bad a signing as some may think.
