Blues kicked off their Midlands group game at the Coventry Skydome with a 2-2 draw against Wolvesand the recorded their best result of the night with a 7-3 thrashing of bitter rivals Villa.
A 5-3 win against Albion saw Blues finish top of the group and a meeting with Wolves again for a place in the Grand Finals in Sheffield in September.
It wan't to be however as Wolves ran riot with a resounding 8-0 victory.
