Blues Res 1 Fulham Res 1

After a goalless first half at Solihull Moors' Damson Park, Garry McSheffrey gave Terry Westley's side the lead from the penalty spot on 68 minutes after he himself had been upended in the Fulham penalty area.

However, Blues' lead was short-lived as the visitors gained a share of the spoils when Eddie Johnson equalised with just over ten minutes of normal time remaining.

One real positive note for first team boss Alex McLeish was the fact that summer signing Scott Dann completed just over an hour of the match - this the Blues' centre-backs second reserves outing in less than a week - as he attempts to regain full match fitness after being sidelined with a thigh injury since July.

Blues Res: Doyle, Joyce, Rowe (Preston, h/t), Espinoza, Dann (Packwood, 65), Carsley (Ntambwe, h/t), O'Shea, McSheffrey, Phillips, Benitez, Sammons.

Fulham Res: Zuberbuhler, Stoor, Anderson, Briggs, Watts, Saunders, Seol Ki-Hyeon, Dikgacoi, Elm, Johnson, Smith (Marsh-Brown 57).
